This training will help practitioners to develop a whole setting approach to emotional wellbeing and to consider the elements that create emotional healthy environment for children, families and staff.

Audience:
Early Years Practitioners interested in achieving the Healthy Early Years London Bronze award for their setting. The Healthy Early Years London awards are open to:
- Children’s Centres
- Nursery Schools
- Private, Voluntary and Independent Nurseries
- Early Years in Schools
- Childminders
- Creches and Playgroups
The training will help you to:
- Explore the concept of emotional health and wellbeing and what contributes to this
- Consider issues that help create emotionally healthy learning environments for children and staff
- Introduce the key principles of a whole setting approach to emotional health and wellbeing
- Review your current practice and how this could be improved to enhance wellbeing
- Understand protective factors for good emotional health
- Consider how settings can help to build resilience
