Training and Events

“100% of participants attending our training have Agreed or Strongly Agreed that the training met their requirements and that they would it recommend to others”

April 2021

Whether it’s developing people’s skills and knowledge through training or bringing colleagues together at an event, our team delivers training and events to support our current programmes (hyperlink) and staff working within schools, early years settings and other services to enhance the health and wellbeing provision of their setting.

We offer a calendar of training and events free of charge to support each of our current programmes. View our training calendars (hyperlink). For schools, settings and services outside of our current programmes, we can also offer training to a group of people at your workplace, and tailor it to your needs. Please contact us for more information.

Our advisers have planned, co-ordinated and promoted national and regional conferences and events designed for local authority, school and health staff. These have covered a wide range of topics, including Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing in Schools, Healthy Early Years Programme, PSHE, Healthy Schools Partnership, parenting, regeneration, health impact assessment and consultation methods.

We can support you with various aspects of organising an event or conference. If preferred we can take on the whole project for you. Our advisers work with you to provide a comprehensive package of support, ensure your event runs smoothly, stays within budget, is successful and meets your targets.
