Training Overview:
In order to develop and create a good school food culture, schools need to take a whole school approach to food. This includes teaching, extra-curricular activities, meeting food standards and engaging with key stakeholders.
Join us online to find out more about taking a whole school approach to food, it’s importance in school when developing a good school food culture, and its application through real case studies. The second part of the session provides the opportunity to work in small groups to think about realistic action planning, and find out about local support available via Healthy Schools and Change4Life.
The Change4Life service in Kensington and Chelsea, and Westminster supports children, young people and families most at risk of poor health outcomes to eat well and keep active. The training is free of charge. This training session aims to support schools to feel more confident in promoting a good school food culture.
