Audience / For: Â Staff working with families and parents/carers of children aged 5 years and older in Kensington and Chelsea, and Westminster. E.g. staff who are involved in measuring or discussing weight status, conducting clinic appointments or drop ins e.g. school nurses, GPs, dietitians, and those working in child weight management services. The training may also be useful for some support roles (non-clinical) who may be involved in discussions at a signposting level, if deemed appropriate by your line manager. This training does not target volunteers or junior roles, who are not likely to be involved in health conversations.

Training Overview:
Our free Change4Life service is available in Kensington and Chelsea, and Westminster to support children, young people, and families most at risk of poor health outcomes to eat well and keep active.
This training session aims to support health and care practitioners working with families and parents of children aged 5 years and older, to increase confidence in facilitating conversations around a health concern derived from weight status, and to become familiar with the local support available.
