Training Webinar Overview:
The Change4Life service is available in Kensington and Chelsea, and Westminster to support children, young people and families most at risk of poor health outcomes to eat well and keep active.
This webinar will introduce early years practitioners, staff and volunteers to the range of purposeful play opportunities that help develop physical literacy in children. Participants will learn about the importance of purposeful physical play for physical literacy and how to create active friendly environments.
Impact on knowledge, skills and confidence
- Understand how a child becomes physically literate
- Become aware of the motor skills and sensory experiences a child needs to develop their movement capability
- Understand how to provide an environment for purposeful physical play.
