EYFS: Staff Wellbeing and Mental Health

Training Overview:

Poor mental health costs UK employers an estimated £34.9 billion each year – the equivalent of £1,300 for every employee in the UK workforce. The Early Years sector is facing ongoing challenges with staff recruitment and retention, often creating high levels of stress, which can lead to more significant mental health problems.

This one day course will cover:

• An understanding of common mental health issues
• Increasing knowledge and confidence to advocate for mental health awareness (and reduce stigma)
• How to spot signs of mental ill health
• Skills to support positive staff wellbeing across the setting
• How to look after yourself

This will be an interactive, in-person course, including presentations, group activities and discussion.
