Audience / For: Staff working within primary and secondary schools including healthy school leads, catering staff and any other staff working within schools or local authorities involved in menu planning, development, auditing and responsibility for meeting the school food standards.

Training Overview:
The Change4Life service in Kensington and Chelsea, and Westminster supports children, young people and families most at risk of poor health outcomes to eat well and keep active.
This free training session aims to support schools to meet the statutory School Food Standards across the whole day. This training is suitable for staff involved in organising and planning breakfast clubs, school lunches and / or after school clubs. This can include healthy school leads, teachers, and catering staff within schools.
Impact on your Knowledge, Skills and Confidence:
- To take a whole school approach to food and drink provision
- To become more familiar with the standards and rationale of the standards
- To increase confidence in meeting the food and drink standards through careful menu planning and tailored contract management
- To increase awareness of valuable practical resources and support to self-audit and plan menus
