Training Overview:
Have you identified a health or wellbeing need within your new cohort? Is it linked to one of the Prime Areas of Learning? If you already hold a HEYL Bronze Award, the Silver Award could be your next step.
The Healthy Early Years London (HEYL) Programme, funded by the Mayor of London, supports and recognises good practice in children’s health, wellbeing, development and education. It complements the EYFS framework, with a particular focus on the health and wellbeing of children, families and staff.
This training will support settings to:
- Identify a health and wellbeing priority for your setting.
- Use data and evidence to understand the need.
- Develop clear targets, outcomes and actions.
- Create an effective action plan to work towards your HEYL Silver Award.
Training Outcomes:
- Greater knowledge of local support available through HEYL and its partners.
- A clearer understanding of local and national health priorities.
- Increased confidence in using data to identify needs.
- Practical skills to plan, implement and evidence targeted improvements.
