Training Overview:
Do you know the Chief Medical Officer’s guidelines for physical activity? This session will help you to implement the guidance into your practice and provide ideas for purposeful play important for children’s health, wellbeing, development and learning. Participants will increase their knowledge and understanding of how to identify and support children who would benefit from additional movement experiences.
Impact on your Knowledge, Skills and Confidence:
- Increase participants confidence and skills in supporting children to meet the Chief Medical Officer’s guidelines for physical activity.
- Increase practitioners repertoire of skills to ensure children have a full entitlement of activities for health, physical development and learning in an enabling environment.
- Early identification and intervention to support children enhance their physical development capability
