Training Overview:
What does Ofsted’s renewed inspection framework mean for PSHE? How confidently can you explain the strengths of your provision and identify areas for development?
This in-person training will explore key considerations for PSHE leads, including how PSHE contributes to pupils’ personal development and wellbeing. Participants will be introduced to our updated “PSHE and the OFSTED Framework – an audit tool for schools”, with opportunities to reflect on their provision, share good practice and practise responding to questions that may arise during inspection.
This training will support PSHE leads to:
- Explore the renewed Ofsted framework and its implications for PSHE
- Use the updated audit tool to identify strengths and priorities for development
- Share good practice and consider how pupil voice and evidence of learning can inform provision
- Practise discussing their PSHE curriculum, its impact and next steps
Impact on your Knowledge, Skills and Confidence:
- A clearer understanding of Ofsted’s renewed framework and its relevance to PSHE
- Increased confidence in using the audit tool to review and strengthen provision
- Practical ideas and approaches gained through discussion with other PSHE leads
- Greater confidence in explaining how PSHE meets pupils’ needs during inspection
