Training Overview:

Attachment is the emotional bond between a child and their parent(s). A secure attachment is the best possible foundation for healthy physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development. Attachment also lays the foundation for physical and emotional self-regulation. This training will introduce participants to the main attachment styles and provide practical ideas to support children to develop self-regulation skills.

  • Deepen knowledge of self-regulation and how we can help children learn these skills
  • Increased knowledge of main attachment patterns and how these are developed
  • Explore links between attachment, self-regulation & social skills
