Session Overview:
Healthy Early Years London (HEYL) is an awards scheme funded by the Mayor of London which supports and recognises achievements in child health, wellbeing, and development in early years settings. HEYL helps to reduce health inequalities by supporting a healthy start to life across themes that include healthy eating, oral and physical health, and early cognitive development. HEYL complements and enhances the statutory Early Years Foundation Stage framework, adding to the focus on children, families and staff health and wellbeing.
Our one-to-one surgery sessions are for anyone working on their HEYL Bronze or Silver applications. In this meeting with your borough lead you will be able to ask questions, clarify any points, discuss examples or simply work on your application. This session is a chance for you to progress your application so that you can finalise and submit it to the Quality Assurance Group by the end of this academic year. If you are working on your application with your colleagues, feel free to invite them along.
